Sheriff’s Office Collision Investigation Unit detectives responded early on the morning of Nov. 15 to a single vehicle collision near the intersection of Meridian Avenue and 140th Street NW (Firetrail Road).

The collision was reported around 1:45 a.m. after a truck with four adults inside went off the roadway into the ditch. Two of the passengers were transported to a nearby hospital, but were found to have sustained only minor injuries.

The driver, a 32-year-old Marysville man, was arrested and booked on suspicion of DUI. Firetrail Road was closed for several hours for the investigation. No other injuries were reported and no other vehicles were believed to be involved.
