On Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018, Arlington police arrested a 37-year-old Arlington woman for a November armed robbery of the Burger King, located in the 20300 block of 77th Avenue NE in Arlington.

Just before 6:15 a.m. on Nov. 10, 2018, employees of the Burger King reported to 911 that a man and a woman entered the Burger King and robbed it of an undisclosed amount of cash. During the robbery, the woman brandished a black handgun to prevent employees from leaving the Burger King restaurant while her accomplice took an undisclosed amount of cash from the restaurant’s safe. Prior to leaving the restaurant, the woman also demanded the employees’ cell phones to prevent them from calling 911 to report the robbery.

Information from multiple sources provided the identity of the woman involved in the robbery. The woman was located by the North County Property Crimes Unit. Arlington detectives interviewed the woman and booked her into Snohomish County Jail on three felony charges: Robbery in the 1st Degree, Theft in the 2nd Degree, and Unlawful Imprisonment. The woman is also facing several other felony charges for crimes being investigated by the North County Property Crime Unit.

The handgun believed to be used in the robbery has been recovered.

Arlington detectives are continuing their search for the male suspect connected with this incident.
