As the partial government shutdown continues, the YMCA of Snohomish County is concerned for its members who are federal employees. With mounting stress that comes from meeting basic needs (food, housing, utilities) while not receiving a paycheck, the YMCA is offering some help. If you are a current YMCA of Snohomish County member who has lost pay, due to the shutdown, bring your government ID to your local YMCA of Snohomish County branch Welcome Center in January and we will waive one month of your dues. We want to make sure you continue your well-being journey, with one less thing to worry about.

The Y responds to society’s most pressing needs by developing innovative, community-based solutions to help those in need to reach their full potential,” said Scott Washburn, President/CEO, YMCA of Snohomish County. “Working out and being with those who care is important in dealing with stress. This is one small way that we can help support our members. We know that when we work together, we move individuals, families, and communities forward.”
