ROY ROBINSON SUBARU presents:

Orca: How We Came to Know and Love the Ocean's Greatest Predator with Jason Colby

Today, there is no more prominent symbol of the Pacific Northwest than the orca whale. Yet just a few decades ago, killer whales were reviled and shot throughout the region. Join historian and professor Jason Colby for a provocative exploration of our transformed relationship with the ocean's apex predator and what it means for the future of our local environment and Puget Sound adventures.

Local authors, outdoor enthusiasts and naturalists will share their adventures and expertise on topics including hiking, kayaking, nature photography, mountain climbing, boating and more. Each presentation will finish up with a Q & A period and/or book signing and sales. $5 at the door. Doors open at 6:00 pm. Presentation begins at 6:30 pm.
