Watson will uphold our goals

I am writing this letter to support Ellen Hiatt Watson for our representative on the Snohomish County Council.
I have lived in Snohomish County, at the same home, for over 35 years. At the start of this decade I've noticed a growing disregard of the Growth Management Act (GMA) by some of our county council members. The GMA specifies controls over development to minimize effects of urban sprawl. It emphasizes concentrated growth utilizing the existing infrastructure while preserving open space, our environment, and public facilities. Who wants storage condos and mini cities in our rural areas? Developers? Certainly not me. Ellen Hiatt Watson stands out as a future council member who will uphold our goals in these developing times.
