Editor,

I am a mother of two young children and I live in Sultan. Being a busy mom, it can be a daunting task to figure out who to vote for in an important judicial race, but I took the time out of my hectic schedule to research the candidates running for Snohomish County Superior Court judge, and this is what I discovered:

Rico Tessandore is a man with integrity and a solid work ethic. He is overwhelmingly endorsed by the rank and file law enforcement, men and women who work to protect our communities from criminals, such as the Washington State Patrol Troopers Association. Also, the Snohomish County Deputy Sheriff's Association has solely endorsed him.

In contrast, my research on Mr. Hulbert and Mr. Wilson is that they are subpar at best. A Herald article last year (http://www.heraldnet.com/article/20080815/NEWS01/941736797) reported that Mr. Wilson was not ashamed of his four prior arrests for drunk driving. In addition, I understand that Mr. Hulbert has also been arrested for drunk driving and admitted that he has not since quit drinking.

Rico Tessandore's past stands tall among the other candidates with a history of applying the law in an independent, fair and impartial way and advocating for victim's rights.

As a mother and a concerned citizen, it is clear to me that Rico Tessandore is the best candidate for Snohomish County Superior Court judge.
