Editor,

We respectfully request that you join us in supporting Rico Tessandore, Attorney at Law, in the upcoming election.

Born into a working class family, Rico was raised by a single mom who instilled in him a strong work ethic. Rico worked his way through college and law school and, like many of us, is still paying off his student loans. As his peers, we know his unquestionable reputation for integrity and respect for the law. In our community he is known as a man without a sense of entitlement, a loyal friend, a competent adversary, a helpful colleague, and a fair and respectful Judge pro tem.

The breadth of Rico's civil and criminal experience will well serve the citizens of Snohomish County. Rico has tried over 180 cases to verdict. During his tenure as a prosecuting attorney, Rico prosecuted felonies and misdemeanor crimes, including domestic and other violent crimes, identity thefts and drug crimes. During the past five years, his civil litigation practice has included lawsuits ranging from simple district court matters to complex, multi-party disputes.

Rico's judicial experience includes serving as a Pro-Tem Superior Court and District Court Judge in Snohomish County. In addition, he serves as an arbitrator in Snohomish, King and Skagit counties. During law school, he had internships with the Seattle city attorney and with a family law practice.

Most importantly, Rico possesses all the qualities that we have come to value in the current Snohomish County Superior Court bench: humility, integrity, diligence and respect for the legal process and its participants.

Our community and the public deserve the best judge possible. For these reasons, please join us in supporting Rico Tessandore in the upcoming election.
