Editor,

I am proud to support Dr. Jeff Cartwright for Hospital Commissioner Pos. #3 on the Cascade Valley Hospital Board.

I've been an active supporter of Arlington community for over three decades. Since welcoming Dr. and Mrs. Cartwright to this community, it's been a pleasure to get to know their family as they have joined in many events and organizations to make this a better place to live. I see Dr. Cartwright at many events, donating his time and energy to our community.

One of the many reasons that I am supporting Jeff is because of his community spirit and his desire to give back to our wonderful community. And I care deeply about the future of Cascade Valley Hospital.

In addition to working at the hospital since 1984, I've served as a volunteer on the Hospital Auxiliary, which is now known as the CVH Foundation. I currently am Treasurer of the CVH Foundation and an employed part-time as a semi-retired nurse. I've personally had two children and three surgeries at CVH, which were elective. I've dedicated a great amount of time and concern to CVH and want Arlington and the surrounding communities to have a hospital that we can be proud of.

Dr. Jeff Cartwright will get my vote for Hospital Commissioner because I believe that he is committed to positive change at CVH. He is dedicated to attracting and retaining more medical specialties, and making CVH a medical center that will appeal to those that currently choose to go outside the community for quality health care.
