Regarding the letter from Bruce at Granite Falls (9/24 issue of NCO) about what John Koster on the Snohomish County Council hasn't done. Some of those facts are not true. Over the last years I have seen him take an active role in all the improvements at I-5 and 172nd. It is partly because of him we are now seeing a project of mass improvement about finished, making it easier to get across I-5 and easier to get on to the freeway.

I do believe he has been working with the city of Marysville on the proposed new exit from the west side of I-5 at 152nd.

The person running against him this year is just one of those people who moved out here in the last few years but doesn't want anyone else to move out here.

As Erma, an older lady, said to some gals complaining about all the traffic, "I used to be able to back out of my driveway before you came."
