Editor,

I am writing to commend Caldie Rogers, the CEO of the Marysville Chamber of Commerce. She was instrumental in helping me and a family member, who is legally blind and partially deaf, resolve a purchase and return of merchandise with a business in the area.

Caldie was so understanding of the situation and very irritated at the behavior of this particular business and the circumstances of the sale. As she shared with me, It is apparently not representative of the businesses past outstanding behavior as a business leader in the community.

Caldie immediately recognized the impropriety of what had occurred and shared what I think was some very wise critical thinking with the business. They responded the same day and the transaction was nullified and the purchase returned the same day.

In my opinion, you are indeed fortunate to have Caldie Rogers as the CEO of the Chamber of Commerce. She understands the value of customer service and satisfaction and is willing to share that vision with members of your Chamber of Commerce.
