Snohomish County Elections office releases preliminary results for Feb. 13 Special Election

The Snohomish County Elections office has released the preliminary results for the Feb. 13 Special Election.

The results listed are current as of 8 p.m. on Feb. 13.

The Arlington SD Proposition No. 1, Bonds to Construct and Renovate School Facilities and Improve Security, received 3,061 (54.80 percent) Approved votes and 2,525 (45.20 percent) Rejected votes. The bond requires at least 60 percent Approved votes to pass.

The Marysville School District’s Proposition No. 1, Replacement Educational Programs and Operations Levy, received 4,427 (48.63 percent) Yes votes and 4,677 (51.37 percent) No votes.

MSD’s Proposition No. 2, Technology and Capital Projects Levy, received 4,540 (49.82 percent) Yes votes and 4,573 (50.18 percent) No votes.

The MSD’s levies require a simple majority of more than 50 percent Yes votes to pass.

The next update will be Wednesday, Feb. 14, at approximately 5 p.m. For current results, go to http://www.snoco.org/elections/results/ecurrent.htm. The election results will be updated on a regular basis until the election is certified on Feb. 23.
