Art in Legion Park set for Sept. 9-10

More than 30 Arlington area artists will put their creative ventures up for sale Sept. 9-10 at Art in Legion Park, in downtown Arlington, in a true showcase of local talent.

The show is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Olympic Avenue with live music enhancing the fun throughout the show.

Marcia Kester will start the day at 9 a.m. and Johnny Green and the Pack String will liven up the afternoon at the Beer and Wine Garden, where Skookum Beer and Zerba wine will be served on Saturday only, from noon to 5 p.m.

On Sunday David Lee Howard and RhondoSwing will entertain.

Fun art projects will be available for children and raffle prizes of original art will be available for shoppers.
