Trevor Milless makes the play to get the out at first base for the Blue Team at Evans Field on July 19.

The Blue Team took on the Green Team in the Arlington Aces Recreational Baseball League on July 19.

The Green Team got off to a fast start as they stayed disciplined at the plate and scored three easy runs in the top of the first inning. The Blue Team answered back with one run but failed to convert more with bases loaded.

The next couple of innings were quiet as the Green Team scored one run in the third while shutting out the Blue Team. Through the next four innings the pitching and defense was too much as both teams failed to score a single run.

Heading into the bottom of the last inning the Blue Team trailed the Green Team by a score of 4-1. With consistent bats, incredible explosiveness and back-to-back two-run homers the Blue Team finished off an amazing comeback with a final score of 5-4.

"I didn't plan on hitting the walk-off home run, it was more about just driving in the tying run from second. But it was really cool, going back-to-back with my brother. I think we've all found our spots and we've been able to get into a groove when we come to play. I love playing in this league and being able to make these memories that I won't be forgetting any time soon," said Blue Team Pitcher Chase Milless.

Chase Milless played a huge part in the Blue Team victory as he pitched through all seven innings, put together a strikeout and led from the plate as well. With the bat he tallied two hits, one run, two RBIs and hit the walk-off two-run homer.

Trevor Milless also played a huge role as he had three hits, two runs, two RBIs and hit the first two-run home run early in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Two other players played big roles for the Blue Team as Patrick Bliss and Evan Anderson combined for six hits, one run, one RBI and two doubles.

Green Team's Jordan Neville makes the Blue Team miss as he gets a strikeout in the fifth inning at Evans Field on July 19.

"They're a good team. I was throwing curve balls all game and they started to catch on. I probably should have been pulled, but they're good and we'll move on. We are hitting well and playing good defense, but we need to get more pitchers out here," said Green Team Pitcher Jordan Neville.

Neville controlled the game from the mound as he pitched a complete game, totaled three strikeouts and, up until the seventh inning, only allowed one run. From the plate, he also had two hits and one run.

Green Team had two other big-time contributors from the plate including Matt Irving and Trevor Stahl. Irving had three hits, one run, two RBIs and two stolen bases. Stahl had a game-high four hits to go along with his one run, one RBI and a double.

If you want to check out the Arlington Aces Recreational League, they play every Wednesday and Friday on Evans Field, Arlington, at 6:30 p.m.
