The Downtown Arlington Business Association has named Found It as its first 'Yabba DABA Do' Business of the Month.

The Downtown Arlington Business Association, DABA, announced at the members' meeting on June 7, a monthly "business of the month" to highlight local businesses.  It is called 'Yabba DABA Do" business of the  month.

The first business selected as "business of the month" is Found It.  Found It is located at the corner of Fifth Street and Olympic Avenue.

Paula Lassiter, owner, opened Found It about one year ago and has been encouraged by the local support she has received.

Lassiter said at the meeting, "We have had so many request for formals and gently used wedding dresses that I decided to open a second location and call it Fancy It.  It will located at 431 Olympic Ave. and will carry more upscale and fancy inventory." Home décor and jewelry, clothing and a lot of really unique and interesting items will also be available.

DABA members are encouraged to visit Lassiter's  businesses during the month of June and enter a drawing for a prize at the July meeting.

The July DABA meeting will be July 12, at 6 p.m., at Legion Park for a picnic and networking.  All local business owners are invited to attend.  DABA will be providing the food and refreshments.
