BPAC 10-Year Anniversary Celebration to showcase importance of community arts venue

The Byrnes Performing Arts Center's (BPAC) will be holding its 10-year anniversary celebration on Saturday, June 3.

The Byrnes Performing Arts Center's (BPAC) will be holding its 10-year anniversary celebration on Saturday, June 3. The celebration starts at 5 p.m. with behind-the-scenes tours and refreshments. At 7 p.m., Arlington High School's jazz band will perform along with a drama production. At 8, The Coats vocal band with entertain attendees. The evening will conclude with a recognition of the BPAC donors.

"The Byrnes Performing Arts Center is truly a premiere arts venue in North Snohomish County which hosts hundreds of events throughout the year," said Linda Byrnes, former superintendent of Arlington Public Schools, who was behind the fundraising effort to build the BPAC. "This was a community-supported effort and our donors were very generous. We want to show everyone what a great performing arts venue they have right in their backyard.

"If you only have a few minutes, come early and go on a first-ever back stage tour. Bring your family and celebrate another example of the Arlington spirit."
