Arlington Fire Department contains fire in apartment complex to one unit

 


At approximately 11:55 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10, Arlington Fire was dispatched to reports of a fire in an apartment at the Wrobliski Manor complex, located in the 1200 block of E. Fifth Street.

The first arriving units discovered the fire largely contained to the apartment’s kitchen and extinguished the fire within ten minutes. Crews continued to work to ensure that the fire did not spread to nearby units.

Adjacent departments that assisted in the call were North County Regional Fire Authority, Arlington Rural, Snohomish County District #19 (Silvana), Snohomish County District #22 (Getchell), and Marysville Fire District. The Snohomish County Fire Marshal has determined the cause of the fire to be food left cooking on the stove. The loss is estimated to be $30,000.
