Richard "Dick" Bailey


A long-time Arlington, WA, resident, Richard Arnold Bailey passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on February 14, 2017, with his family by his side. Richard was born in Bellingham, WA on September 1, 1938, to Elizabeth and Donald Bailey. Richard and his first wife, Charlotte Murray, were married in 1961. Richard attended the University of Washington Law School, graduating in 1967. The family moved to Arlington, WA, where Richard practiced law with Bibb and Bailey, later Bailey, Duskin and Peiffle, and briefly served as judge of Cascade District Court. He volunteered at the Arlington Food Bank for the past several years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mt. Baker Planned Parenthood, 1509 Cornwall Ave, Bellingham, WA 98225 or the Arlington Food Bank, 49118 63rd Ave NE., Arlington, WA 98223.
