Arlington & Marysville Police seek Information on local robberies

Arlington and Marysville Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with two robberies which occurred on Dec. 14.

Arlington and Marysville Police are seeking the public's help in identifying

the suspect in an attempted robbery that occurred at 9:50 a.m. at the Smokey Point Subway

restaurant and a robbery that occurred at approximately 10:10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 14,

2016 at the Twin Lakes Subway restaurant.

Arlington Police were initially dispatched to the Smokey Point Subway restaurant, located in the

16800 block of Smokey Point Blvd for reports of an attempted robbery. The suspect fled the

scene as units were responding.

Shortly thereafter, a suspect with a similar description robbed the Twin Lakes Subway

restaurant, located at 17100 block of 27th Ave NE in Marysville. Officers from Arlington and

Marysville Police, as well as the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office and Washington State

Patrol were unable to locate the suspect. A subsequent K9 track for the suspect was also

unsuccessful.

The suspect was described as a man in his mid-20's, approximately 6'1" with a slender build,

wearing all black clothing, black gloves, a black mask, and a black hooded sweatshirt with a The

North Face logo on the chest.
