Winter Science Extravaganza: Fossilology with the Imagine Children’s Museum

Have you ever wanted to be a fossil detective? Then this is the program for you! We'll examine how fossils form, decipher different types of fossils and use clues to investigate their origins. For ages 6 and up. Held on Monday, Dec. 19, beginning at 10 a.m.

Build it, Eat it: Mini Gingerbread Houses

What will you build with eight graham crackers, frosting and a candy kit? Imagine the delicious possibilities! All tasty building materials are provided. Held on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2–4 p.m.

Make-it Thursday: Bath Bombs

Come make some fabulous bath bombs with us! We’ll provide the supplies and teach you how to make them, and you’ll get to come away with some fizzy, great-smelling gifts for the special people in your life. Held on Thursday, Dec. 15, beginning at 3 p.m.

All Ages

Third Thursday Trivia Night: Star Wars Jeopardy

Join us for an all-ages Jeopardy-style trivia competition and see if you have what it takes to be a Star Wars Trivia Master. Compete either as an individual or as a family team to win fun prizes, including a pair of movie tickets to see "Rogue One.” Held on Thursday, Dec. 15, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Friends of the Arlington Library Book Sale

Great books available at bargain prices. Something for everyone; December's theme is holidays. Proceeds support the Arlington Library. Held on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Friends of the Arlington Library Meeting

Guests and new members are always welcome. Friends are the generous folks who help raise funds for library programs for children, teens, and adults as well as performing a variety of volunteer activities. For more information, please call the library. Held in the Stillaguamish Conference Room at 154 W. Cox Ave. Held on Wednesday, Dec. 14, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
