Local students receive scholarships from CVH

The medical staff of Cascade Valley Hospital and Clinics in Arlington recently awarded $1,000 scholarships to three local high school students with plans to pursue careers in medical fields.

The three scholarship recipients are:

• Bailey Drake, a 2016 graduate of Arlington High School, who will attend Western Washington University to be followed by nursing school and potentially on to training as a nurse practitioner.

• Robin Hernandez, a 2016 graduate of Arlington High School, who will attend the RN to BSN nursing program at the University of Washington–Bothell.

• Marissa Blair, 2016 graduate of Lakewood High School, who will attend Spokane Falls Community College to get a nursing degree and a minor in business, with future plans to operate an adult family home.
