'Voices of the Village' to perform on Nov. 14

“Voices of the Village” and “The Pin Drops” will perform at the 5th annual “Voices Among Us” concert on Saturday, Nov. 14, 7-9 p.m., at the NW Music Hall, 402 SE Everett Mall Way.

A $10 suggested donation or more. Snacks, beverages, and concert gear will be available in the lobby.

The concert is sponsored by Macy’s and the Rotary Club of Arlington. Proceeds will help fund Village Community Services’ band “Voices of the Village.” This is an all-ages show.

Currently all 32 members of the “Voices of the Village” have developmental disabilities. Audience members are also encouraged to participate using drums, shakers and tambourines supplied by the band.

“Voices of the Village” will open the show. The Pin Drops headline the second set performing danceable rock and roll. Then, “Voices of the Village” members and the Pin Drops will perform together on selected songs.

“Voices of the Village” is a recipient of the 2015 KSER Voice of the Community award for Cultural Impact by an Organization.
