Let's support Mayor Tolbert

I have resided in Arlington for the past 65 years and have seen the town go through many changes and many mayors. Arlington’s population was between 3,500 and 4,000 for many of those years and the mayors were mainly figureheads with very little responsibility.

As our town experienced more growth everything changed. With the growth of the town to a city, we must have a mayor with experience and the background to cope with these problems.

Mayor Tolbert has had many successful years of managing the Fly-In for Arlington. She has also volunteered for various committees, and is currently an active member of the Arlington Lions Club. We all know of her unselfish commitment to the Oso disaster.

Here is a candidate for mayor who has managed a business, has worked diligently for the betterment of the city, and has unlimited experience and integrity, solving the many problems that have surfaced during her tenure in office. She has shown her willingness to work with the council, the people of Arlington, and also the surrounding area.

Mayor Tolbert has the skills, knowledge, and integrity to be an outstanding mayor. Let’s all support her and put her back in office.

Sincerely,

Ruth Munizza

Arlington
