Free dirt for lawns, gardens

Marysville offers free fill dirt and topsoil mix for residents to use this spring.

 


Homeowners and gardeners can take advantage of free material for yards and gardens, courtesy of the City of Marysville.

The city has a limited supply of free, screened fill dirt and topsoil mix available for residents to use in gardens, lawns or landscaping projects.

The fill dirt is available on a first come, first served basis.

To pick up free material, visit the Kellogg Marsh Reservoir site at 100th Street NE and 67th Avenue. Gates are open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors must complete and sign a Hold Harmless Agreement.
