The agricultural-focused insurance and finance company Country Financial is expanding in Arlington and held a ribbon cutting at their Smokey Point offices on March 13 to celebrate.

Country Financial has been in Arlington for five years previously, but only as a small presence. They have "just expanded a substantial amount," by adding many new employees, said Arlington agency manager Brian Castellanos, and hope to keep growing.

The insurance company has been in business since 1925 in many states across the U.S., said Castellanos. They have continued to be successful because they've stuck to their roots, providing insurance with a focus on agricultural clients.

"That is our own little niche and it's what we're good at," said Castellanos.

He also says that the company is happy to be growing and becoming a bigger part of the Arlington area.

"The people of Arlington are happy that you're growing, especially considering the industry that you're in and we look forward to welcoming you to the community," said Arlington Mayor Barbara Tolbert.
