Dennis Eugene Barlow


Dennis Eugene Baglow of Marysville, WA, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2013, in Everett just four days shy of his 70th birthday.

Dennis was born in Seattle, WA on December 9, 1943 to Walter and Ethel Baglow.

After graduating from Mountlake Terrace High School in 1962, Dennis served more than 23 years in both the Army and The Washington National Guard.

While pursuing an AA degree at Everett CC he met the love of his life. Dennis married Susan Rooker on June 10, 1972.

Dennis was a generous and loving man. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

His favorite past times were camping, reading, playing games, old movies and traveling.

He especially enjoyed family reunions, both large and small. He loved meeting new people.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Sue; children, Tara and Bryan Ottenberg, Stacie and Dan Simpson; grandchildren, Clark, Matthew, Ethan, Gabbi and Libbie; sister and brother in law, Doreen and Marlo Krause; brother in law, Ron Terry, sister in law and brother in law, Carol and Wayne Brewer; and many other well loved family members, both by blood and by heart.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ethel Baglow; in laws, Dutch and Elaine Rooker; grandmother, Oma Jacobs; sister, Dorothy Terry; and aunt, Sister Lavita Jacobs.

His Celebration of Life was held in in Lake Stevens on December 15.
