Info on school levies at public meeting

Superintendent Becky Berg and finance director Jim Baker will present information on two levies on Dec. 4.

The Marysville School District will host a meeting for the public on Dec. 4 to share information on two recently approved levies that will show up on voters’ ballots in February.

Dr. Becky Berg, Marysville School District superintendent, and Jim Baker, executive director of finance and operations, are holding this presentation as part of a series of meetings for Marysville and Tulalip community members.

Meetings will present information on the levies and leave time for questions afterward.

The two levies include a Maintenance and Operations levy that will replace the current Maintenance and Operations levy that is set to expire and a new levy that will provide more funds for technology to the district.

The Dec. 4 meeting will be at 6 p.m. at the Totem Middle School library at 1605-7th Street, Marysville.
