Sno-Isle Unit 22 of the Washington State School Retirees Association is offering a $1,000 scholarship to a prospective teacher candidate.
Interested students must be a resident of Snohomish County or Island County, a junior or senior enrolled in a 4-year university in Washington State in a department of education. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Selection will be based on transcripts, leadership and activities, and essays. The deadline for receipt of applications is June 15, 2010. Funds will be available for the 2010-11 academic year.
