Five students in grades 4 through 9 representing Arlington Christian School competed at a Science Fair sponsored by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) on April 24 at Fairview Christian School in Seattle. Of the five Arlington entries, four brought home superior ribbons, the highest award possible.

Winning first place in the Junior/Senior High Division among the western Washington member schools were 9th-grader Song Park, and two students from the eighth grade, Kaitlyn Shaw and Skyler Bassford.

Song, an exchange student from South Korea, scored 99 of a possible 100 points on her entry entitled "Let There Be Light" about photosynthesis. She will be returning to study at Arlington Christian School again in the fall.

The ACSI local district includes all western Washington member schools.

Arlington Christian School is marking its 35th year of service. ACS is located near I-5 in the Smokey Point area. For further information, contact the school office at 360-652-2988.
