The March students of the month, as selected by the Marysville Kiwanis and Soroptimist clubs, are Gabriel Gribler and Jessica Jeffrey, both seniors at Marysville-Pilchuck High School.

Gabriel is an accomplished scholar who has pursued Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) classes since his freshman year, and still maintained a 3.76 GPA. He has tackled college-level math and science classes and participated in Running Start at Everett Community College during his junior year.
A member of the rowing team, he placed first in the nation in the Men's Lightweight 8+ category at the U.S. Rowing Youth National Championships last spring. Gabriel serves as captain for the men's varsity rowing team at M-PHS and will be a member of the University of Washington's crew next year.
The M-P senior is also a member of DECA and was selected the Senior Marketing Student of the Month.

Jessica has also shown academic excellence during her four years at M-PHS, and has been on the honor roll consistently since her freshman year. She currently carries an impressive 3.926 GPA.
In addition to a full schedule of AP classes, Jessica has also found time to participate in extracurricular activities including Drama Club, DECA and National Honor Society. She had roles in school productions of "The Secret Garden" and "High School Musical," and participated in the DECA Fall Leadership conference during her senior year. She is also a member of the Ultimate Frisbee Club.
Jessica is active in her community, volunteering at Immaculate Conception Church, the Imagine Children's Museum and Pooh and Friends Preschool. She coaches a youth soccer league team, and is a tutor at Quil Ceda Elementary.
