Arlington schools are holding early registration for next year's kindergartners this week, through March 27.

To be eligible to attend kindergarten in the 2009-2010 school year, children must be five years of age prior to September 1, 2009. A state-registered birth certificate, proof of residency and up-to-date immunization records are required.

Registration forms, a school boundary map and even a Kindergarten Readiness brochure, available in English and Spanish, can be downloaded from the district's Web site at www.asd.wednet.edu. Parents should visit their neighborhood school for registration, or for more information about the process.
