The Lakewood community and all past students, teachers and administrators are invited to attend the Lakewood School District Open House, scheduled for March 10, 2009 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Lakewood High School, for a special celebration honoring the district's 95th anniversary.

Kindergarten registration for the 2009-2010 school year will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. in the LHS Commons. Parents of 8th grade Lakewood students are invited to a high school orientation session at 7 p.m. in the theater.  

A slide show on the history of the district will be shared, commemorative T-shirts will be on sale, and there will be displays of several programs offered at our schools and in our community. The evening will also include entertainment by various student performing groups and refreshments will be served. Families can even enjoy a school meal prepared by the district's Food Services Department for the nominal price of $3.50 each.
