Arlington police have identified the woman suspected of robbing the Chase Bank branch located in the 500 block of N. Olympic Avenue on Friday, Dec. 30, as Navey Erlene Skinner.

The suspect entered the bank just before 2:30 p.m. on Friday and presented a robbery note that threatened violence if the teller did not comply with her demands for money. The suspect then fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Witnesses described the suspect as a white woman in her mid-thirties to mid-forties, with a thin build, sunken cheeks, and shoulder length brown hair.

Crime Scene Investigators who responded to the 911 call were able to collect items of evidence that ultimately assisted in identifying Skinner as the suspect.

Skinner is a 34-year-old Caucasian woman, described as “drugged-out,” who frequents the Everett area. She is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone who knows of her whereabouts is urged to call 911, or the Arlington Police Department directly at (360) 403-3400.
