Arlington police are asking for the public's help to solve a vandalism spree at the Arlington School District Bus Barn that occurred sometime over the weekend of July 31.
At approximately 5:15 a.m. on Monday, August 2, Arlington School District employees reported significant damage to school buses at the Arlington School District Transportation Department, located in the 19100 block of 63rd Ave. NE in Arlington.
District employees discovered at least 35 buses had sustained significant damage, including broken and smashed windshields and side windows and slashed seats. Damage estimates are still being calculated, but the total is expected to be over $50,000. The damage occurred sometime between 5 p.m. on Friday, July 30, and 5 a.m. on Monday, August 2.
Arlington police have no suspects in this case. The public is asked to contact the Arlington Police Department at 360-403-3400 with any pertinent information.
