Marysville Mayor Dennis Kendall advocates open communications with local residents and business owners, and part of his agenda includes participating in casual "coffee klatsch" meetings in the community.
On Wednesday, March 24, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., HomeStreet Bank in Marysville will provide the coffee and the venue for citizens who'd like to meet with the mayor to discuss concerns, offer suggestions or get questions answered.
Constituents are always welcome to contact the mayor by phone or e-mail, or to speak at City Council meetings. The informal coffee klatsch setting, however, offers a less intimidating forum for citizens to simply have a chat with the city leader.
HomeStreet Bank is located at 1238 State Avenue in Marysville, at the north end of the Safeway Plaza.
