Maryfest, the organization that produces the Marysville Strawberry Festival each summer, has announced that the official program for the festival will be published by North County Outlook.

The theme for the summer festival, which takes place the third weekend in June, is Summertime Fun.

North County Outlook produced the 2008 official Strawberry Festival program, and for 2009 the focus was broadened to include more summertime fairs and festivals. The 2010 publication will include more in-depth information about the Marysville event while still providing overviews of other local community events.

Maryfest volunteers are already hard at work designing and building the parade float and planning for the citywide events that happen during the Strawberry Festival. Watch for ongoing news about the city's signature festival and ways to get involved.
