Cascade Valley Hospital was recently honored with a national award for providing top quality health care at a value-conscious price.
Cleverley and Associates, a leading national healthcare consulting firm, recognized Cascade Valley Hospital as one of the top 100 hospitals in the United States that are low cost, use a strong financial position to reinvest back into the provision of care at the facility, and provide high quality care to patients. The hospital was also designated a "Five-Star" facility.
Cascade Valley Hospital was one of only three hospitals in Washington State to earn this award, with the other two facilities located in Wenatchee and Longview.
Hospitals do not apply for consideration of the honor. The selections are made strictly based on publicly reported data. While many hospitals perform well in one area or another, Cascade Valley Hospital stood out because of its across-the-board success.
"We are pleased that Cascade Valley Hospital has received this recognition for effectively managing our costs and maintaining reasonable rates while making strong commitments to providing excellent quality patient care," said Clark Jones, the hospital's chief executive. "This is a testimony to the commitment of our doctors, our Board of Commissioners, and our dedicated staff to quality and efficiency in providing care to our patients."
