Mayor Dennis Kendall helped cut the ribbon to celebrate the grand opening of the Allen Creek Market Fresh IGA at 5610-64th St. NE on Saturday, Sept. 12. The store, which was previously a Thriftway supermarket, has a different name but same owners. As part of grand opening festivities, the first 100 customers in line when the doors opened received a free bag of groceries.
