The staff at North County Outlook works hard throughout the year to publish quality products that provide useful information, timely and relevant news, and profiles on interesting people and businesses in our community. But every now and then, we take time to recharge our collective batteries.

Twice a year, we skip one two-week publication cycle to allow time off for our small staff, and the summer break is coming up. The June 18 issue you're reading now will be the last North County Outlook published until July 16, and our offices will be only sporadically staffed during the two weeks from June 22 to July 3.

We'll be checking voice messages and e-mails during the two-week hiatus, and expect to see us at community events and happenings. The Web site will continue to be updated as well, even though we won't publish a printed issue of the paper until July 16.

Our team here at NCO will be back at full-speed, refreshed and ready to go, on July 6. The next scheduled break is between Christmas and New Year's Day.
