Twenty teams of dancers from the Puget Sound area showed up for the 8th Annual 360 Break Dance Battle, held June 13 at Totem Middle School. The competition, planned and organized by teens involved at the Marysville YMCA, also drew more than 500 spectators. Instrumental in the event were Josh Helo, Sire One and Devin Roberts. Helo is one of the event organizers, while Sire One is an "old school" graffiti artist who mentors at the YMCA.
