Intern joins writing staff at North County Outlook

We at North County Outlook are pleased to introduce Carmell Emory, a Marysville native and senior at the University of Washington who has accepted an internship with the paper’s editorial department.

Carmell is studying marketing and finance in the university’s business program, and she plans to incorporate professional writing into her career goals.

“I love writing because it’s something that is my own,” said Carmell. “I control the cursor and the words that interpret my thoughts. It’s a powerful feeling when you can translate those thoughts and feelings onto paper that others will read. I look forward to meeting more of the north Snohomish County public and connecting readers with their community news.”
