Melissa Marie Linn and Kevin James Floyd exchanged marriage vows on July 23, 2011, at Word of Life Lutheran Brethren Church in Marysville. Parents of the bride are Denny and Laurie Linn of Stanwood. Parents of the groom are Larry and Shirley Floyd of Grandview, WA.

The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Jay Price, with a reception following at Normanna Lodge in Everett.

 

Maid of Honor was Trina Anderson, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Heather Culley, sister of the bride, and Emily Chambers, friend of the bride. Best man was Matthew Haak, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Justin Peterson and Johnny Plesha, friends of the groom. Flower girl was Mattea Culley, niece of the bride. Jamie Durbin, friend of the groom, gave a scripture reading and recited a Scottish wedding prayer. Candle lighters were Paige Tolliver and Jodi Turk. Ushers were Andrew Bry and Cale Zimmerman. Program attendants were Kyle Haag and Emily Voorhies, and guestbook attendants were Alyssa and Ashley Haak.

Melissa is a 2004 graduate of Lakewood High School, received her BS from Pacific Lutheran University in 2008, and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Washington in June 2011. She is currently a Physical Therapist in Richland, WA.

Kevin is a 2006 graduate of Sunnyside Christian School and received his BA from Pacific Lutheran University in 2010. He is currently a Financial Analyst in Kennewick, WA.

After a honeymoon on Maui, the couple is making their first home in Kennewick.
