Joybelle Hansen (left) and Barbara Manke will display hand-painted ceramic objects at the Warm Beach Fellowship Holiday Bazaar Nov. 5 and 6.

Joybelle Hansen has directed the ceramic shop at Warm Beach Fellowship for 28 years, with the help of her husband Herb, who pours the molds and fires the items. The local crafter's work will be on display, along with other handmade and home-baked items, at the Warm Beach Fellowship Holiday Bazaar, set for Friday and Saturday, Nov. 5 and 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Beachwood building, 20420 Marine Dr. in Stanwood.

Barbara Manke has volunteered at the ceramic shop for 10 years, along with many other artists who decorate the ceramic pieces. Many of the crafters are over 90 years old, and the unique gifts are available for purchase year-round.

During the bazaar event, shoppers can also enjoy homemade pie ala mode in the Garden Room, along with treats at the Christmas House, the Bake Shop, Farmer's Market, and hand-knitted and crocheted gifts at Mother Hubbard's Cupboard.

Proceeds from the bazaar will provide new mattresses for the 81-bed nursing wing. Taking advantage of a special offer, the center will get one mattress free for every three they purchase.
