Marysville Y gets new director

DavisThe Marysville branch of the YMCA has a new executive director. Reeshemah Davis joined the Marysville/North County Family Branch as executive director effective July 26.

Davis will oversee the day-to-day branch operations, which include membership and program service, staff supervision, budget management, financial development, and board development.

Before coming to Marysville, Davis served as executive director of the YMCA's Buchanan branch in San Francisco and previously served as membership and business services director for the Embarcadero branch, also in San Francisco.

"I was very impressed with her background and focus on community development," said Scott Washburn, YMCA of Snohomish County president/CEO. "She brings significant experience and passion for the YMCA. We are very fortunate that Reeshemah has chosen to join our Marysville Family YMCA."

Davis has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and received a Masters of Arts in Educational Administration and Policy Studies from California State University, Sacramento. In addition to her broad range of experience and education, she has served on several YMCA committees and community organizations.
