Denny and Laurie Linn of Stanwood are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Marie Linn, to Kevin James Floyd, son of Larry and Shirley Floyd of Grandview, Washington.


Melissa is a graduate of Lakewood High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education with emphasis in physical therapy and athletic training from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Washington.


Kevin is a graduate of Sunnyside Christian School in Sunnyside, Washington and will graduate from Pacific Lutheran University in May 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and business administration with emphasis in finance.


A summer 2011 wedding is planned.
