Beginning March 20, staff at the Arlington Public Library will be celebrating Australia Week with activities and events designed to showcase the Land Down Under.
On Saturday, March 20, experience a Didgeridoo Workshop with Bob Effertz at 2 p.m. Learn about the Aboriginal culture and about the basics of playing the rhythms and sounds of the didgeridoo.
Toddlers aged 18 months to 3 years can enjoy music, movement and special themed stories about Australia on Tuesday, March 23, at 10:30 a.m. Reading readiness skills are included; a caregiver is required to attend.
Kids age 3 to 5 can experience their own Australia adventure at Preschool Storytime on Thursday, March 25, at 1 p.m.
