Santa will be a busy man on Saturday, December 5, as he's scheduled for appearances all over north Snohomish County throughout the day.
The historic Gehl House at Jennings Park will host Santa, courtesy of the
Marysville Historical Society, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. December 5. Children of all ages are invited to visit with Santa, Mrs. Santa and a few jolly elves. Have your picture taken with Santa for only $10 for a 5x7 print, a fundraiser for the historical organization.
Cookies, cocoa and treats will be available in the Red Barn, and children are encouraged to bring letters to Santa for drop-off in a collection box. A mailbox for Santa letters will also be located at the Marysville Historical Society's downtown office at 1508-B Third Street from November 30 to December 15. Letters with return addresses will receive a reply from the North Pole.
The Gehl home was built in 1884 and was moved, board by board, to Jennings Park by historical society members.
Also on December 5, locals may spot Santa visiting Comeford Park during Merrysville for the Holidays, or strolling down Olympic Avenue in Arlington for Hometown Holidays.
