Laura Koty, a 9-year-old dance student at Marysville Performing Arts Centre, will be part of the holiday tradition of "The Nutcracker," presented by the Moscow Ballet and the Everett Symphony, on Sunday, November 22 at 12 and 4 p.m. at the Everett Civic Auditorium.

Laura auditioned for the Tchaikovsky classic and was offered a role as a Party Guest.

A 5th grader at Pinewood Elementary in Marysville, Laura has been studying dance at MPAC for four years. Her sister Emily also dances at MPAC and is in her second year of ballet classes.

The Everett Symphony has teamed up with the famous Moscow Ballet for this year's presentation of the classic ballet, promising a spectacular production to kick off the holiday season.
