The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life takes place in June each year, but it's not too early to think about volunteering for the 2010 event.

The relay planning committee is already hard at work, and while relay teams are the heart of the annual event, volunteers are also needed to help with publicity, logistics, food and hospitality, team recruitment and much more.

Team registration is available online at www.relayforlife.org/northsnohomishwa.

The Relay for Life kickoff is planned for January 16, 2010, at Pacific Rim Supper Club.
