The popular Tulalip Parade, formerly part of the Strawberry Festival activities, will help kick off a new tradition for the Tulalip Tribes as locals celebrate Tulalip Days, September 5 through 7.
The first annual 3-day event will take place in and around the Tulalip Tribal Center, 6700 Totem Beach Road. Vendor booths offering crafts, jewelry, clothing and concession items will dot the grassy hillsides while tribal members and visitors participate in canoe pulling, a Sla Hal tournament, softball games and more.
For the kids, organizers have planned children's games and bouncy house activities.
The parade will take place beginning at noon on Saturday, September 5, along Totem Beach Road.
