After more than four years in business at 116th St. and State Avenue, Victoria and Jim Mattson have announced the closure of Let's Dish!, a make and take meal kitchen.

"Instead of an abrupt closure, we wanted to provide our customers one last opportunity to dish with us to allow a graceful transition to life after Let's Dish!" said Victoria Mattson. The store will remain open through August 8.

Established customers and newcomers are invited to drop by and pick up ready-to-take meals and side dishes, and talk to the owners about preparing your favorite Let's Dish! meals at home. The Mattson also have specialty ingredients for sale, including tortillas, calzone crusts, and spice blends, as well as pantry staples like rice, grains, pasta and sauces.

Closing the store is bittersweet for the couple. "We have enjoyed being a part of the Marysville community," said Mattson, "and we intend to continue many of our community activities."

Victoria Mattson is on the Healthy Communities advisory board and is a member of Soroptimists.

North County Outlook is pleased to add that Victoria will also continue her column, providing healthy, delicious recipes and cooking tips for our readers.
